Staff

Lee Bell, Director of Camping Programs & Facilities, comes from a strong Information Technology and sales background in Liverpool, England. He started with HI4Y in 2005 as an international counselor and worked his way through the ranks in all seasonal positions. In 2009 Lee became a full time member of staff and took the lead in running HI4Y’s New Jersey programs in urban public school settings before being asked to lead the Conference & Retreat Center. He now oversees all summer camp programs and our facilities in West Milford.

Lisa Jenks, Director of Finance & Administration, has been with HI4Y since 2009 and began as a part-time bookkeeper. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and completed graduate work in accounting at Baruch College in New York City. Prior to coming to HI4Y, Lisa worked as an auditor for Touche Ross, bookkeeper for a non-profit animal shelter, and served as Treasurer in several civic organizations including a local Educational Foundation and the Boy Scouts. Lisa’s knowledge of non-profit accounting has enabled her to strengthen the agency’s financial and administrative systems.

Kristin Nevin, Director of Development, received a bachelor of science in Interior Design from Philadelphia University.  Before joining HI4Y, she was the Director of Development for the West Milford Police Athletic Association. Professionally trained and experienced in interior design, Kristin brings a sophisticated touch to special events fundraising and program development.  She is passionate about working for organizations dedicated to serving youth. As a lifelong resident of West Milford active in school and community affairs, Kristin has been able to engage local businesses and residents in support of the agency’s mission to serve young people through camp-oriented programs.

Gail Gailbraith, Day Camp Director, is a graduate of William Paterson University where she studied Sociology and Education, and has a minor in literature.  She served as the Town of Bloomingdale’s Recreation Director for 10 years and has had extensive experience running their Summer Recreation Day Camp Program. Gail has been responsible for providing services to children and families in Bloomingdale, West Milford and surrounding communities for the better part of 15 years.  Her ability to adapt and develop specialized programs for kids keeps local families returning every summer for quality day camp programming.
